About Us
Born on the sidewalks of Alcântara.
Twenty-seven years of pushed mongo, questionable decisions and the best community in Lisbon. Here’s how a cracked patch of concrete became a collective.

Our Story
No sponsors. No plan. Just a bag of wax and a cracked curb.
In the summer of 1998, five friends from Alcântara dragged a broken pallet, two planks and a lot of optimism onto the concrete behind the old warehouses. That improvised mini skatepark became our headquarters — the boards got better, the scars got fancier, the friendship stayed exactly the same.
By 2003 we were selling decks out of a garage. By 2009, Saturday lessons. Today the Collective runs weekly street rides, a proper little shop and a kids’ program that fills every weekend slot weeks in advance.
Parents, a word: we get it. Knees, elbows and helmets go hand in hand. Our kids’ programs put safety first without ever killing the fun — if your kid wants to shred, we make sure they come home smiling (and mostly intact).
Milestones
Twenty-seven years, four wheels at a time.
-
1998
First session behind the Alcântara warehouses. The “ramp” was a pallet. It was perfect.
-
2003
First box of decks sold out of Rui’s garage. The shop has smelt of grip tape ever since.
-
2009
Saturday lessons officially launch. Six kids show up; three of them now coach here.
-
2016
The first Alcântara Bowl Challenge draws 200 skaters and one very confused seagull.
-
2024
300+ students a year, six coaches on deck and a kids’ program with a waiting list we’re genuinely sorry about.
How We Ride
Three rules, zero attitude.
Safety first, always
Helmets on the little ones, pads on the ramp days, and falling technique before flip tricks. We’ve earned our scars so our students don’t have to earn all of theirs.
Everyone skates
Age, style, skill level — irrelevant. First time standing on a board or filming a part for the crew, you get the same high-five and the same respect.
Street is home
We skate the city, so we look after it. No wax on private ledges, no trash at the spots, and we always leave a spot cleaner than we found it.
The Crew
The people who keep us rolling.

Twenty-seven years in. Your turn.
Whether you’re eight or eighty, the first push is the hardest. We’ll handle the rest — book a session and find out.
